Kerkorian steigt bei Ford ein

Der amerikanische Multimilliardär Kirk Kerkorian plant mit seiner privaten Holding Tracinda Corporation bei Ford einzusteigen. Nachdem er sich bereits 4,7 Prozent an dem amerikanischen Automobilhersteller gesichert hat, will er, Medienberichten zufolge, nochmals 170 Millionen US-Dollar ausgeben, um mit dem Kauf von 20 Millionen Aktien seinen Anteil auf insgesamt rund 5,6 Prozent aufzustocken.
Er bietet den Anteilseignern 8,50 US-Dollar pro Aktie, mehr als 13 Prozent über dem Schlusskurs der vergangenen Woche von 7,50 US-Dollar. Bei der Daimler-Chrysler-Fusion sah der jetzt 90-Jährige Chrysler-Aktionär um eine Milliardensumme geschädigt und strengte einen zeitintensiven Rechtsstreit an. (ar/nic)
